Gerard Pique has admitted Barcelona are spoiled by the genius of Lionel Messi and believes El Clasico will not be the be-all and end-all.
The centre-back believes that Barca or Real Madrid will lose one of their games after Saturday's derby game.
"We have been amazed many times [by Messi]. We are spoiled. He number one. An example for all and will show it again," Pique told AS.
"I'm sure that one of us will fail in one of the remaining league games."
The 23-year-old also compared both teams' key contributors ahead of the key clash at the Bernabeu.
"Victor Valdes gives us security at the back and keeps a lot of clean sheets and is a great goalkeeper. [Iker] Casillas' track record says it all. Xavi is the essence of Barcelona and [Xabi] Alonso is essential for Madrid, because he gives the side stability and control."
