Premier League:Benitez to have some Hennessey

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is reportedly going to bid £2.5million for Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Hennessey is tabbed to be the perfect back-up for Pepe Reina.

Hennessey has not featured for Wolverhampton in the Premier League since their 4-0 loss to Chelsea in November.

However, Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is not willing to lose his keeper, and plans to build around him with their relegation worries virtually behind them.

He said: "If we don't, we're just standing still."

Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to raid Liverpool for Paul Ince's 18-year-old son Thomas, a left winger whose Liverpool deal is close to expiration.
