Pep Guardiola hopes Barcelona can emulate their performance at Arsenal when they face Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.
Barca were immense for the first hour at the Emirates Stadium and led 2-0 with half an hour remaining, but Arsenal fought back to draw 2-2.
Guardiola described his side's first-half performance as the best 45 minutes of football during his time in charge - no small achievement given the high standard of play since the former club captain took over from Frank Rijkaard in 2008 and the six trophies they won last year.
Guardiola wants more of the same against Athletic, although he believes it will be impossible to match Wednesday night's performance.
"We won't repeat what we did in London, but we have to stay along those lines," he said.
"Eleven shots in 15 minutes, like against Arsenal, only happens once in a lifetime."
With Real Madrid and Barcelona level on points going into the league's home straight, all of Spain appears to be focused on next weekend's 'Clasico' between the two sides at the Santiago Bernabeu.
With both sides dropping very few points, many believe that match will decide the destiny of this season's Primera Division title, but Guardiola says the 'Clasico' is not on his mind at the moment.
"The match at the Bernabeu is the least important of the season," he said.
"There is life before and after the Bernabeu, the world doesn't end there because there will still be 21 points to play for after that match."
Before travelling to Madrid, Barca host Athletic tomorrow and then face Arsenal at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night.
First-choice centre-backs Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique are both suspended for the second-leg match against the Gunners and should therefore start tomorrow.
Andres Iniesta remains out, while Dani Alves is suspended and will get some valuable rest ahead of Tuesday's clash.
Athletic, one of Spain's traditional big clubs, are in contention for a European place next season and Guardiola says his players cannot afford to be distracted by the forthcoming fixtures against Arsenal and Madrid.
"They (Athletic) are a historic club, one of the big teams, and it's no surprise that they are two points off the Champions League positions," he said.
"If that happens, it is my responsibility, but if it happens then we won't win (against Athletic), so we have to avoid it."
Athletic consolidated sixth place in the table following an epic 4-3 win at home to Racing Santander on Monday night.
That success saw the Basque climb to within reach of the Champions League places and coach Joaquin Caparros says his side, like Barca, will be under pressure to achieve a positive result tomorrow night.
"Those who say we have little to lose are mistaken; we are playing for exactly the same thing as Barcelona - the three points," he said.
"We will have to take our chances and hope that Barcelona are below their best."
Fran Yeste returns for Athletic, but Pablo Orbaiz, Aitor Ocio, Ion Velez and Iban Zubiaurre all miss out.
