Real Madrid midfielder Guti thinks the pressure is now on Barcelona after his side closed to within a point of the La Liga summit.
Guti was instrumental in Real's 2-0 win over Valencia at the Bernabeu and was also singled out by club general director Jorge Valdano for his display.
The 33-year-old Real veteran also told reporters after the game that he hopes Barca fail to beat Inter in the Champions League semi-finals.
"We knew that after El Clasico this was an important game and we've taken advantage of Barcelona tripping up yesterday so we are only a point behind. To be seconds with 83 points is very good. They have to feel the pressure and see that we are close," Guti was quoted as saying by AS.
"We are the two best teams. We have won two games, but we both of us are on a very good run.
"We controlled the game, with plenty of chances but until the goal at the end, you always have uncertainty. Personally, it's a good time for me, I hope to win the league.
"I've always said I'd like that Barcelona lost and also at Inter I have two friends."
