Arsenal and Manchester United both qualified for the last eight of the Champions League in style, hammering Porto and AC Milan respectively.

Bayern Munich had to scrape past Fiorentina on away goals, while Olympique Lyonnais squeaked past Real Madrid in one of the major upsets of the tournaments this season.
Here are the best XI the teams had to offers this week:
Hugo Lloris - Lyon
The French goalkeeper was a wall against Real all night, save for a Cristiano Ronaldo goal that slipped into the back of the net in between his legs. Lloris made a few world class saves that kept Les Gones in the game, enabling them to draw the game 1-1 and advance to the quarter-finals.
Gary Neville - Manchester United
Neville rolled back the years to put in a credible performance against AC Milan on Wednesday, limiting Ronaldinho's time on the ball with the help of Antonio Valencia. His pass to Wayne Rooney for United's first goal in the 13th minute was a treat to watch.
Cris - Lyon
The Brazilian centre-back played a solid game, shielding Lloris from numerous shots and won plenty of headers as Los Merengues piled on the pressure in the second half.
Thomas Vermaelen - Arsenal
Made up for Sol Campbell's lack of mobility and overall rustiness as he covered loads of ground in the game, taking on Hulk and Falcao and shackling both to hopeful long shots in the game.
Patrice Evra - Manchester United
The Frechman did not bomb forward with his usual fervor, but he was sound defensively in this game against the likes of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Marco Borriello, and later, David Beckham and Clarence Seedorf. Helped the Red Devils construct their attacks from the back as well.
Andrey Arshavin - Arsenal
Ran the show for the Gunners against FC Porto as his penetrative forays into Helton's penalty area yielded two simple tap-ins for Nicklas Bendtner. Arshavin also had a hand (or is that foot?) in Emmanuel Eboue's goal, releasing his team-mate on an exquisite through pass for the finish.
Samir Nasri - Arsenal
The young French midfielder may have well score the goal of the round as he left three Porto players in his wake, knifing into the penalty area with the ball before placing his shot past the onrushing Helton. Simply beautiful, simply beautiful.
Darren Fletcher - Manchester United
The Scotland international was everywhere for the Red Devils on Wednesday, locking down Massimo Ambrosini, Andrea Pirlo and Mathieu Flamini in the middle of the park, and chasing down lost causes while stringing passes to keep United's attacks moving. Scored a late goal, his first in the Champions League.
Miralem Pjanic - Lyon
The Bosnian teenager became a sensation overnight as he scored the goal that dumped Real Madrid out of the Champions League. Pjanic picked up the ball from Lisandro in the 75th minute and smashed his volley past a shell-shocked Iker Casillas for Les Gones, enabling the French side to move on to the next round of Europe's elite comepetition.
Wayne Rooney - Manchester United
Rooney is arguably the most in-form striker in football at the moment. The England forward raided Milan for two goals in their clash, one on either side of the half, and could have had more in the game before being taken off in the 66th minute. United will need to ride on his rich vein of form with Dimitar Berbatov struggling mightily upfront and Michael Owen shelved for the season.
Nicklas Bendtner - Arsenal
After missing a hat-trick of chances over the weekend, the Gunners' Danish hitman came back with a vengeance, getting to the right place at the right time to sweep in two easy opportunities in Arsenal's game against Porto. Bendtner completed his first hat-trick at the senior level when he rammed home a penalty in the 90th minute.
