James Rodriguez’s agent, Bruno Carpeggiani, has shot down rumours of his client joining Juventus in the summer.
"He is one of the best players in Argentina at the moment," Carpeggiani told tuttomercatoweb.
"However, for now we haven't spoken to anyone, so there is no deal. I leave for South America on Friday, so then we'll see. Obviously I can say there is interest from important teams, but there have been no negotiations."
The Colombian winger gained the attention of a host of European giants as an integral member of the Banfield squad that won the 2009 Apertura in Argentina.
The Italian media have suggested that Juventus will be focusing on signing younger players like Rodriguez to rebuild their ageing squad.
