Manchester City and Chelsea are poised to make a move for Sevilla's Luis Fabiano after the striker hinted he would like a move to England.
The 29-year-old striker has sparkled this season, finding the net on occasions and forging a lethal partnership with former West Ham and Tottenham ace Frederic Kanoute.
In recent weeks, the Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Spain in a deal worth £15million - a fee that, if it is matched, highflying Sevilla would struggle to turn down.
Both Chelsea and City are looking to bolster their forward lines, with City wanting to find a permanent replacement for Robinho and Chelsea eager for more competition for places in the final third.
Having only recently declared that he would be happy to stay at Sevilla, Fabiano has now sent Premier League clubs scampering for their cheque books after declaring that his situation could change.
"I have a year left on my contract and am happy at Seville," Fabiano told The Sun.
"But things can change very quickly.
"I do not want to speak about my future at the moment because we are just thinking about the Champions League and the Spanish league where we still have a lot to play for."
