Valencia striker David Villa has refused to answer any more questions about his future at the club.
During a press conference, Valencia's top goalscorer insisted that he is dedicating his time sorely for his club and country.
Villa has been closely linked with a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea or Liverpool. Recently, Spain teammate Fernando Torres pleaded the Liverpool board to sign his friend from valencia.
"I am not going to answer any questions that are not about football," Villa said.
"I am only thinking about the World Cup in June, I didn't get involved in any transfer talk last year, and this year even less so."
Los Che are five points clear of fourth place Real Mallorca and will meet Sporting Gijon next in their La Liga game. Incidentally Gijon are Villa's ex-team but the striker will be putting past affections aside.
"On the pitch one has to be a professional, so I hope that I have good fortune against Sporting and that afterwards they have some good luck," said Villa.
"I wish David Barral the best in breaking his goal drought, but it won't happen against Valencia."
